Overview

  • Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

    Meal: Dinner

    Arrive at Cairo international Airport at 1610 hrs, meet & assist by our representative. Transfer to hotel for check-in & freshen up. In the evening have Dinner Cruise followed with an Oriental Belly Dancing Show (At Andrea Nile Cruise).

  • Day 2: Day-trip to Alexandria

    Meal: Breakfastand Lunch and Dinner

    Breakfast at hotel and then transfer by A/C coach through the desert road to Alexandria to visit the Catacomb, Morsy Abu El Abas Mosque, Montazah Garden & Palace lunch at Alexandria restaurant. In the evening witness Pyramid Sound and Light Show followed by Indian Dinner at Hotel Swiss Inn. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 3: Cairo to Aswan by 1st class sleeper train

    Meal: Breakfastand Lunch and Dinner

    After breakfast, check-out from hotel. We now visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx- one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After this, lunch at Maharaja Indian Restaurent. We then proceed to visit the Egyptian museum & KhanKhili Bazaar. From here proceed to the railway station for the sleeping train to Aswan. Dinner & overnight onboard train.

  • Day 4: Aswan

    Meal: Breakfastand Lunch and Dinner

    Breakfast onboard the train. Arrive at Aswan Station at 7am where our representative meets & greets and then transfer to Cruise. Check-in, fresh up and lunch onboard on cruise, i.e. Bau Soliel Nile Cruise (5-star deluxe cruise ships, Aswan – Luxor 3 nights). We then sail by traditional Nile Felluca along the shores of Elephantine Island with overiew on Agha Khan Mausoleum and take trip around Kitchener Island. We then end the day with dinner with local cultural show and overnight stay.

  • Day 5: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu

    Meal: Breakfastand Lunch and Dinner

    Breakfast and lunch onboard cruise and sail to Kom Ombo. Visit Temple shared by two gods- Sobek & Haeroris. Then sail to Edfu to visit Edfu temple. Dinner with local cultural show and overnight stay.

  • Day 6: Edfu – Luxor

    Meal: Breakfastand Lunch and Dinner

    After breakfast on board, sail to Esna and pass the Esna Lock. Visit the East bank (Karnak & Luxor Temple). Lunch will be served onboard. Dinner & live entertainment on board, in the evening.

  • Day 7: Return to Delhi

    Meal: Breakfastand Lunch

    Breakfast onboard the cruise after which we disembark from the ship at around 10 am. We then proceed to visit the West bank (Valley of the Queens, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut & the Colossi of Memnon). Lunch at local Restaurant in Luxor. Transfer to Luxor International Airport to board your departure flight and bid farwell to Egypt!

While the pyramids and the Sphinx are a must-see, Egypt has much more to offer like cruises on the river Nile! This is a land bustling with life, sound, visual beauty and exitement!

Sporting and Recreational Clubs: If the heat is too much, you can go to one of the famous sporting clubs such as the Gezira Club located in Zamalek, or the Seid Club (otherwise known in English as the Shooting Club) located in Mohandiseen, where you can have a dip at the swimming pool or otherwise enjoy sitting in the shade and comfort of lush trees and gardens. Entrance for foreignors can be gained by buying a one-day ticket for 20-30 Egyptian pounds which enables the person to enjoy all the facilities of club including playing any sports. There are of course changing facilities and restaurants inside the club where one can enjoy a meal or a drink after engaging in any activity.

Nightlife: If you enjoy nightlife, there is quite a few nightclubs and discos where you can drink and dance to some of the most modern tunes in the west as well as listen to some arabic music. The music varies from Dance and Trance to Hip Hop, Rap, Techno, as well as Rock and Pop. These clubs are usually located inside five-star hotels or at areas such as Mohandiseen and Zamalek.
