Arrive in Delhi and proceed for Shimla. The town is amazingly gifted by nature and pleasant cool climatic conditions make it rightly known as “Queen of the Hill Stations”. This picturesque town was the summer capital of British India. Today the town is distinctive for its variety of architecture. After breakfast, proceed for Shimla sightseeing. We begin with Kufri which is a tiny hill station located 13 kms from Shimla. Kufri has a Himalayan Wild Life Zoo which hosts rare antelopes, felines and birds including Himalayan Monal. We then proceed to Chini Bungalow– famous for its statues and architecture. Other sightseeings include Chail– the summer capital of the former princely state of Patiala. Chail is famous for its cricket ground which was built in 1893 after leveling out the top of a hill. Mall Road- this is the hub of Shimla’s social life and resembles an English country marketplace. A passenger lift operated by HPTDC can be taken from Cart road to Mall road. Lakkar Bazaar adjacent to the Ridge road, is popular for it's wooden crafts and souvenirs. Ridge Road has neo-gothic architecture from 1844 and a Tudorbethan styled library building built in 1910. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, we check-out of hotel and proceed to Manali where on reaching we check-in at hotel there. Manali is has breathtaking landscape! A place where you can find snowcapped peaks, the Beas river with it's clear waters, pristine deodar & pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. After breakfast proceed for Manali sightseeing which includes– Haddimba Temple – Manali has many attractions but the chief centre of interest, historically and archeologically, is undoubtedly the Dhoongri Temple dedicated to goddess Haddimba. It has four tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. Vashist Kund – A small village located on the left bank of river Beas. It is renowned for it's natural hot sulphur springs with two separate bathing tanks for gents & ladies. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. Tibetian Monasteries – 3 newly constructed colourful monasteries, where visitors can buy carpets and other Tibetan handicrafts. Visit the Mall Road for shopping, rest of the day at leisure. After breakfast, full day excursion to Rohtang Pass. It offers a panoramic and spectacular view. The pass is open from June to October each year although trekkers can cross it earlier. It is the gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley. There are beautiful sights of glaciers where you can enjoy in the snow. Return to for overnight stay.
After breakfast proceed for Pinjore- a small residential township with easy access to extraordinary educational, cultural and recreational opportunities of Chandigarh. Situated in a beautiful valley, overlooking Shivaliks, it is a pollution-free area away from the madding crowd of the cities. On the way visit Rock Garden - This sprawling amusement kingdom has been made completely from waste materials, industrial waste and thrown-away items. Created by celebrated artist Nek Chand, the garden highlights the value of materials many people consider trash. Pinjore Garden – Also known as Yadavindra Gardens which have terraced gardens and feature the Rajasthani Mughal style Shish Mahal, the Rang Mahal, the cubical Jal Mahal and a series of fountains and waterfalls. Overnight stay in hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for Delhi for onwards journey.
