Istanbul:

Historic and modern, European and Asian — that's Istanbul. The city at the junction of two continents is home to ancient structures like the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque in the Old City, as well as modern businesses, hotels, restaurants and nightlife in the New City. The sight of mosques and bustling bazaars and the smell of incense and spices are common in Istanbul. Across the Bosporus Strait, the Asian side of Istanbul offers a glimpse into everyday, residential life.

Prague:

The often-rebuilt Prague Castle has overlooked the city since the 9th century. Over the next few hundred years came the churches, houses and palaces of Old Town, the synagogues and cemetery of the Jewish Quarter and majestic Charles Bridge, which spans the Vitava River. Today, the bridge's pedestrians watch musicians, artists and fire eaters. Other can't-miss attractions include the Museum of Communism, Old Town's astronomical clock and the Estates Theater, where Mozart conducted Don Giovanni.

Salzburg:

The sound of music lures fans both of classical music and of Julie Andrews to Salzburg. Most sights are within walking distance of the city center. Salzburg Cards allow free bus travel and some discounted admissions. Sound of Music Tours, venues such as Grosses Festspielhaus and visits to Mozart's residence and birthplace set the tone for most visitors, but the city also boasts fortresses, abbeys and castles for the architecturally inclined. The young at heart should scamper to the Toy Museum.

Vienna:

Vienna is a cultural heaven, with a district full of art museums dance center and children’s museum and theater. Music lovers can attend Vienna State Opera concerts and view the homes of composers like Mozart and Haydn. At the Homburg Palace - home to museums, the Austrian President's office, the Vienna Boys Choir and the Spanish Riding School-visitors can watch the famous Lipizzan stallions perform and architectural landmarks such as the gothic St. Stephen's Cathedral.
