Tour Details

Day 01 - Bagdogra (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP)   - Darjeeling
Welcome on arrival at IXB/NJP meet our representative and transfer to Darjeeling (80kms/3hrs). The former summer capital of India, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 - Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Batashia Loop War Memorial and Ghoom Monastery while returning to the Hotel. Breakfast at the Hotel . Half day best point local sightseeing covering Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center and Rock side. After that visit to the Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 - Darjeeling - Gangtok
Morning after breakfast transfer to Gangtok (4hrs), at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 - Gangtok Sightseeing
Early morning visit Hanuman Tak,Ganesh Tak,Tashi view Point(These three points are famous for watching beautiful early morning view on Mt Kanchenjunga).After breakfast best point sightseeing tour in and around this capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan, Institute of Tibetology ,Stupa , Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms along with Dharma Chakra Centre & Rumtek Monastery . Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 - Excursion Trip to Tssomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
Breakfast at Hotel .Half-day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people,After that visit 18 kms from the lake Baba Mandir, (temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 - Gangtok – Bagdogra (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP)
Transfer to the NJP Rlw Station / Bagdogra airport for your onward journey.

Gangtok, capital of the state of Sikkim and has grown over the years into an attractive tourist destination. Gangtok reflects a unique ambience which derives from its happy blend of tradition and modernity. Alongside the deeply felt presence of stupas and monasteries, Gangtok also bustles like any other town. While Gangtok has plenty to offer tourists itself, it also serves as a base for excursions to nearby attractions. Some of the key places to visit in and around Gangtok are Rumtek Monastry, Do-Drul Chorten, Enchey Monastery, Tashi View Point and the local bazaar, Lal Bazaar. Day excursions can be made to Tsomgo, Nathula Pass and Fambong La wildlife sanctuary. Foreigners visiting Gangtok must possess an Indian visa. In addition to an Indian visa, foreigners must obtain Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit Sikkim.
